UK month in our school
In April we have had the UK month in our school. We have started it with a "UK day" where all children met together in the morning and watched UK blog to see the game "Duck duck..." and song Incy Wincy Spider. 5th class has prepared a translation of the game and presented how to play it to the others. In the afternoon parents were invited to join us for UK afternoon where our teachers Katka Málková and Irena Vitíková were telling us about their visit of your school in March and showing interesting pictures and materials. For this special event 5th class baked UK chocolade biscuits again:-) Yummy!!! During April 5 th class focused on sport presentations and quizez, which were very interesting for us because for example polo and cricket is not well known sports here. All classes were practising the game and song. We had lots of fun with your game. We have tried to play it with other words than duck and goose. Some children already knew Incy Wincy Spider song from English club - they were proud of it. Even the oldest children have enjoyed singing the song. They were having fun while searching other versions of Incy Wincy on the Internet.
